A customer visited our factory on thursday.
On the way from the hotel back to our factory, we had a long and meaningful conversation.
During the discussion, I learned that their company has more than 10,000 employees, and most of their key and strategic suppliers are based in China. This trip was specifically arranged to find reliable CNC precision component suppliers.
One question during the conversation left a deep impression on me.
I asked: “In purchasing, what matters most to you — quality, price, or lead time?”
The customer answered: “All three are important. But if I had to rank them, quality comes first, lead time second, and price third.”
That answer really reinforced an important lesson for me:
For manufacturing companies, long-term competitiveness ultimately comes down to product quality and service.
Controlling every detail during production, thinking from the customer’s perspective during communication, and staying sincere, practical, and rigorous in everything we do — that’s what truly matters.
I believe that with time and consistency, more customers will choose to work with us.
